This is a great idea for someone special. Fill a jar with pictures, positive quotes, poems, recipes, or whatever else you think the person who will receive the jar would enjoy.
For this jar, I put some family pictures, positive quotes, and a few recipes inside of different sized cards. I made a total of 104 cards, so my friend could be 2 cards per week for the whole year. If you have enough material, you could fill the jar with 365 cards for each day of the year!
Another neat idea if you’re going to give this special jar to your grandpa or grandma is to ask their grandchildren to draw a few pictures, but try to keep it a secret!
To decorate this jar, I added some fabric flowers that I made, and tied a ribbon around it. I also added a sticker with “SPECIAL JAR” on it. Use your imagination!
